Good news - the engine makes more power, 11% more torque and is 11% more fuel efficient. This is achieved through modifications to the 1GD cylinder block, pistons, turbo design and cooling. In addition there’s new injector and electronics technology that Toyota call "iART" that helps to drive the healthier performance.

ECU-SHOP have developed a new aftermarket ECU that interfaces seamlessly with the new iART technology. This allows us to unleash up to 48% more torque and up to an additional 45HP which makes this Ute formidable. And yes, you’ll save up to another 10% fuel as well.

These performance gains are realised via our Ultraboost ECU which has 4 “Maps” (3 Maps + Artificial Intelligence), Digital Dash, Boost and Rail Pressure Gauges and a very slick smart phone app.
